To connect my old and new shop I decided to get a strip door. This plastic strip door will provide some insulation but will also allow me to easily pass between shops as compared to a standard door. I ended up removing an existing window and framing a doorway based on its dimensions. I ordered the strip door off the internet. Even though it was an odd size they make custom size doors. It cost around $85.00 and included everything for installation. It consists of a frame and the plastic strips. It took about 30 minutes to install the door by myself. I am happy with the results so far. See pics below for more details.

Plastic strips installed in frame. The bottoms of the strips were trimmed using some scissors. The plastic strips are sandwiched in the frame and secured by studs and nuts. The plastic is thick and the frame is beefy so this door should last for many years.
